Based on a true story, a monster invades Columbia. As Featured on Elvira's Movie Macabre
The file marked "VHSRip" is from a tape in my personal collection which I thought was taped from Tv... until they started dropping "F-Bombs"... so I'm not sure where I got that. The 700mb file is from a tape a friend of mine had that he bought recently because I told him I liked the movie. The 700mb file is better quality and resolution.

Just a horrid movie in so many ways and if like me you enjoy bad monster movies this one will be right up your alley.
Seriously bad cinematography and direction with a cheesy monster that takes the cake.

Poor video quality
My initial reaction after watching the VHS of this movie, which I had received for Christmas 1985 or 86, was to give it away. Boy, do I regret that move. This is a great bad movie, with a great bad hand puppet monster. Ive been chasing it now as long as Ahab chased the white whale!!! Prints that have good looking day shots have terrible night shots and vice verse. This particular copy is very pixelly and extremely hard to watch. Too bad. If I put a good version together I will post it.

Inane monster movie with an ill-used mediocre cast
Am I sideburn-phobic, or was the '70s the crap-movie decade? Offerings like this would tend to prove it was. Amateurish direction, bad cinematography and the film editor had to have been somebody's out-of-work brother-in-law. Don't even ask about the so-called screenplay. The only fun is provided by John Carradine as a Catholic priest and a monster that seems to have stepped out of a '50s drive-in thriller.
The tape-transferred print has so-so image quality, with the exterior night scenes being too dark to see the action. The audio is okay.
